Here's a recent project I did for my FLGS (that runs miniwargaming.com)... the Skullhamma Battle fortress. Its built to match the data sheet in the Apocalypse book, but I used the Storm lord kit instead of the bane blade. I still need to swap out the twin linked heavy bolters for big shootas (and magnetize them to allow for rokkits), but otherwise its done. I'm just going to post some finished shots for now, but if people have specific questions I can post more pics.

Awesome work! Looks nice and orky, without looking like it was just smashed together out of crap like a lot of ork-jobs do.

Yes that is cool, I like the way you made the track of the tank full of mud an stuff, as if its seen some action.
Good work, keep it up

Thanks... I use stuff I bought at an art store a while ago... Acrylic medium with resin sand. I apply it with a Popsicle stick, and paint it up. Works great on bases too, and I never have to worry about it flaking off.

Here's what it looked like before I painted the mud brown:

Superb job mate!

I did my Skullhama conversion out of Challanger tank by Italieri (I think). But yours is just impressive!

WPD, that Skullhamma is truly awesome!

And as an extra added bonus, i've been staring at a rhino on and off for the last couple days trying to figure out how i'm going to "muddy up" the tracks.

Very nice model and paint job! I have the luxury of a spare shadowsword kit going dusty in a box, so you may have just given me some inspiration for what to do with it :)

Looks fantastic. It's funny - the incredible job you did on the textures and colors makes the tank commander's skin look a little "cartoony", but it may be a camera/lighting trick. The other figures look fine and integrated.

I'm going to have to find that resin sand.
