Have a word with the guys at Rygas, quite a few of them are quite big on it, I'm gonna have a go at it once Warlord Games release they're multi-part 28mm British plastics.

Great minds think alike! This is exactly what I thought.

"What can I do with these really cool 28mm multipart plastics that are appearing rather then the all to obvious WW2 Skirmish game?"

And the answer seems to be SWOTTR.

And there I was thinking I'd come up with an original idea ;)

Still I agree utterly, I'm rather looking forward to playing something 28mm yet different from my normal indulgences, I had planned initally to do Para's from the Doomsday book, but when Iheard about these I knew immeadiately I'd do some regular Tommies, perhaps with a Churchill or two in support, and add a bit of British Steel for the Weird WW2 twist.

Corgi produce/d some nice 1/50 scale Churchills which I hear fit in nicely, though I've not decided on hwo to convert some British Steel up yet, I'm not that fond of the actual models so I may end up working from some Space Marine models suitably adapted unless something else grabs my attention.

Westwind sell really nice 28mm WW2 Vehicles (Including a Churchill) in their "Berlin or Bust" range, about £10 each. Im also looking at "Incursion" as well.

I like both SoTR and Incursion, but I always have been a fan of anything I can get multiple uses out of my minis. They were actually working on straight WWII 28mm rules under the "Berlin or Bust" banner. Great thing is, you can twist the timeframe as much as you want with SoTR/BoB. Run a straight skirmish of DAK vs 8th Army, then maybe next game you get attacked by mummies(zombies)!

Where are you shopping for those vehicles? I did see the Berlin or Bust range, but with the Churchills at £20+

Wayland games are doing a deal on "Incursion". The Game, a pack of Sturmzombies and one of the female German Characters all for £25!!!!

I saw it as fate and ordered straight away

Incursion has just arrived and well, I'm glad I spent the £25!

Quality product is the only way to describe it, nice thick card used in all pieces, study box, stunning game board, art work that can only be described as impressive, quick reference sheet. My first impressions are I'm going to love this game.

The free figures are good as well, good proportions and nice detail.

I cant wait to play it.

Little heads up:

The 1st mission: most likely the Americans will win. That particular mission is in the box to teach the German player one thing: Zombie Management. Now, the German player can win but it takes large amounts of luck and skill to pull it off. The other missions have a much better balance, but that's mainly due to the fact that you can actually select an model list as opposed to having one dictated to you.

Yep, played last night. I hadn't read the rules, we just dived straight in and gave it a go. I have to say we were playing quickly within 10-15 mins. Americans did win with 1 APE down.

Great fun, It needs those models though.

A couple of weeks ago I won an American AI starter set on ebay and included were two limited edition figures that the guy threw in, A Soviet Mecha Ace and a German Vampire. I dont intend doing Soviets as I dont like the models much so I was at a bit of a loss what to do with him.

So I cut off his head and found myself an American one to replace it, knocked up a .45 in a holster (what else says Yank like a .45?) and gave him a backpack. So here we have my American Mecha Ace:

So here we have the German Vampire (His head anyway :)) I took the model and removed the head and used a German Officer Zombie's body.

Thanks:) Like most Englishmen I have devoted my life to the study of Lingerie:D

(If only I didn't have to hold a gun to the wifes head to wear it!)

I'll never understand that attitude myself, you have to put a gun to my head to stop me wearing stockings. Ah well.

She probably wouldn't have had an issue if he were wearing his own instead of hers.

Coronasan, whilst I appreciate your interest and enthusiasm and taking into account your new here, I have to tell you that it is considered bad form and a bit rude to Hijack someone else's thread.

You will notice that Col Gravis and myself both have threads on this subject and whilst we are both happy to comment on each others work, we would never post pictures on each others thread.

It is a bit of a no no I'm afraid. You really need to start your own thread.
