Just curious, does anyone know of any Eldar cityscape terrain done for cities of death? I'm tempted to try and make some but I'd like some inspiration.

That sounds like a challenge! No really, it sounds like a great challenge. I always thought it would be great to try and pull off a craftworld theme table.

Thanks for the link, some nice scenery there though to my mind it doesn't scream Eldar enough. Still miles ahead of where I am. I'm thinking I wil take some inspiration from the buildings in Dawn of War, but embedded in a flowing, crystaline wraithbone landscape.

That link is pretty good , I would also by a putty I can work with on large scale to make smooth flowing curves . I am going to be building terrain for some commission projects I might also give some of this a try .

Actually this reminds me of the first Jes Goodwin sketches of a craftworld in the RT Eldar army list - UK WD127 back in the day!

Now theres a pretty difficult project.

Well worth a try however.

IMO eldar things should not look "busy" so be carefull with your designs

You could always check the Dawn of War PC game websites to see the Eldar buildings that they use. COuld be a good source if inspiration.

Here is a pic of a work in progress Eldar Wraithgate of mine.

Really impressive Mr Rangerrob! I'm actually a bit of newb when it comes to scenery so it will take me ages to actually start on anything.

WiP had a thread a while back that featured a good start on some Eldar buildings. As far as I know, he never finished them, but I really liked the idea he had for making the smooth, delicate wraithbone out of foamcore (about halfway down the thread):

Wow thats fantastic work there... I like the look of the foam hill as well, it doesnt have a crappy stepped appearance to it.

If you dont mind could you past a better pic of the falcon as well, that color scheme looks awesome

Thanks, Yeah I was stretching the wire cutter as far as I could to get that shallow a slope.

Better Falcon pic...Pulled the scheme from Dawn of War. My Wave Serpent is just the opposite, white where blue is ans blue where white is. Don;t have a good pic of the Serpent though.
