hey all, am new to fantasy (isle of blood lured me in) anyway, looking through skaven army book & can't figure out what exactly a warpstone weapon does... in the army book it simply states that a warpstone weapon causes magical attacks. Then looking into the core book it basically tells me nothing. Could anyone clarify a little? My thanks in advance.

Okay since there is nothing in the rulebook about it or the FAQ I'll just sum up the general principle of magical attacks. In most situations these are no different from non magical, or 'mundane' as they are often refered to, attacks. There are specific models that only have a ward save against mundane attacks (wood elf forest spirits for example) and ethereal models can only be harmed by magical attacks.

The big thing is that you don't get magic resistance against magical attacks unless they are wounds caused by spells. That can confuse some people so I thought I'd add it.
