After 3 years of Nids, I am looking for a change, and looking to go to my first official tourny.
So I have put in my diary for 16-17th April Spring Throne of Skulls.

So I plan to build a new army, and learn it, paint it well, and base it before then.

So..

Step 1 - choose an army - Dark Eldar (because the new models are made of win)

Step 2 - choose an army list (This is where I need your help please)

Archon - Blaster, Agoniser and Shadowfield. (125 total)

Trueborn x 9 - Shredder x 4, Shardcarbine x 5 (153 total)
Raider - Night Shields, Flickerfields, Disintegrator Cannon, Grisly Trophies (85 total)

Warriors x 10 - Sybarite
Raider - Flickerfield, Nightshield, Splinter Racks (190 Total)

Can a pure, old school raider spam work?

I will see you there, I'd share my list with you but I'm going to be using the new Grey knights so it's going to be designed on very short notice.

My instinct would be to swap some of your vehicle upgrades for more infantry gun upgrades e.g splinter cannons. I'm not sure how useful flickerfields are for AV10 raiders which can be pummelled by mass small arms fire.
