************************************************** *********

Planet Mordus Prime:

Planet 2240FC was found on the edge of an unknown solar system with a pair of binary stars at it's epicenter in the year M41.36. Shrouded in mystery, Imperial Scribes in conjunction with the Emperor's Echlesiarchy later found evidence that this planet may be the fabled Mordus Prime, a planet known by many names, and in many tongues, but always the stuff of legend. The planet's unusual warp signature has made it a beacon of interest to many waring factions, and has drawn the attention of not only the Imperium, but the Eldar as well. From the eye of an Imperial Navigator, it appears as if the warp has wrapped itself around Mordus Prime like a cocoon, revealing a power source of incredible magnitude, it's energies maddening the weak minded, and confusing even the most fervent of telepaths. Psykers fear it, while those who do not fully understand it's power stand spellbound, worshiping it as a God. Drawn to it's strength like a moth to the flame, warlords of all races, and creeds journey to this far off planet amongst the stars. Their mission; unravel the mystery of Mordus Prime, and if possible, find a way to harness it's enormous power, and use it to crush their enemies.
