Arachnarok mini spiders?

To anyone who has come in close contact with the Arachnarok model...how many small-ish spiders come on the sprues?

from what i have seen, there a about 4-5 of various sizes. One apparently has a hole in its back or something. and i believe you get 4-5 per sprue. so your looking at about 8-10 in total.

I may be wrong however.

Based on the latest white dwarf, there are six completely separate and probably about twice as many again modelled onto other parts of the kit.

having disected a sprue, there are 12 individual little spiders, and then there are dozens more detailed on the main spider itself. There are TONS of great details all over the beast as well.

Thank you...thinking of doing a counts-as Tyranid army using Arachnaroks as Tyrranofexs...and maybe a slightly modified Arachnarok as a Tervigon...that craps out little spiders (termigants)...just trying to get an idea how many small spiders I will have to use as gaunts.

try the skull pass spiders, those will make great hormagaunts/termigaunts

Most of the spiders on the sprue are very small. Only 2 or 3 are larger than a quarter.

I reckon arachnarok mini spiders would make good rippers :)
