As I understand it, The Silence is a force called The Silence. However, what this is is open to speculation.

a friend pointed this out the voice sounds a lot like cristopher lee.

Christopher Lee would be amazing. He's been in some terrible stuff; surely he'd never turn down Who?

That said, it's blatantly not him; that voice is clearly modified; Lee's is deep enough to split rocks on it's own.

I gave it a chance, or tried to - first time since the awful RTD era I have bothered to watch this comeback series. Sadly, it felt like typical moffat rubbish to me (trite, unoriginal and too much fan pandering) The Aliens were hillariously bad - looked like that skeleton guy from Tim Burtons nightmare before christmas. Very predictable with the "going back in time and messing about with history in order to produce the desired result" trope, The Usual audience-substitute child trope and the Doctor himself has continously reminded me more and more of Jar Jar Binks since it came back. I think Moffat should of stuck with Comedy as the Curse of fatal death has so far been his only noteworthy work imo. If this is the best he can do, I certainly wont be watching anymore, personally. Personally, I feel Dr who died the moment Virgin lost their publishing rights - so I guess I shall go back to reading those old books, All-Consuming Fire was wicked with Azathoth and Sherlock Holmes.

I've lost interest since they contracted a Canadian company to make copies of the tweed jacket using Chinese tweed after Harris tweed went to considerable effort to reproduce the original. The Chinese copies cost more than the Harris tweed jackets too.:mad:
