Got to play a couple of games today with my Ravenwing Army.Won capture & control,lost annihilate 5 to 6,both games were fun & in question til the end.Post game discussion turned to Sammael,standard bearer, & apothecary.The question was "could the standard & apoth. also be the special weapons carriers in the unit ?

Yes, they can. The only prerequisite the codex gives is that the model to be upgraded must be riding a bike.

Other squad options are still valid.

never mind guys, the copy of the update my friend printed up for me was missing the 3rd page. Is that the right amount 3 pages?
