I've been told this B-grade SF movie has a lot of Warhammer 40K inspiration, specifically Tau. Apparently, there's even a "for the greater good" quote in it somewhere.

I took the time to watch this movie a few weeks back on netflix, and I have to say, I thought it was really well done. It kept me interested the whole time, and the twists were well done.

Simple film, great execution. I'm no critic by any means, but I think it's worth the watch by any fan of decent sci-fi movies.

Looks like Tau vs an Ork...

It also seems well done... I will give it a chance

Hey, it's on Netflix instant. Maybe that will give me something to do now I'm done with Stargate. (yeah, probably a bad thing to watch after that-but I also finished up "Sherlock")

Good to hear. I remember seeing the trailers for this a couple months before it came out and it caught my interest, but I forgot about it until now.

Edit:
I just found it on Netflix and watched it, it was a pretty good movie. The script could have used a bit more polish, but considering the budget I was impressed. And this isn't like Ultramarines, where it was a crappy movie but impressive for that budget anyways. This was actually a good movie, and the low budget didn't matter much.
