IS there a key word trait rule in 40k? IF not should their be one to help clarify thing in the game?

Here is a few examples Jump infantry is infantry because it has the word infantry in it type or title. Daemon prince is a daemon because it has daemon in it name. even if it is not listed elsewhere in the profile.

In that case, no there is no Key word trait in general in GW rules.

Unfortunately there isn't. [Assault, Fighting, Combat] and [Fire, Shoot] are also examples of rules that (sometimes) means the same thing.

Search this forum for any thread with 20+ pages with Tynskel posting in it. I betcha you can see more examples. (:D)

In point of fact, oftentimes the "rule" is the opposite. For instance, jump infantry doesn't count as infantry. In general, when identifying nouns, the rule is that you need an exact string match.
