Its surprising how the hobby develops many skills, lets take a look at a few in the schools of the 41st milenium...

Maths:
A squad of zerkers is charged by a squad of blood claws. Who in turn are charged by a unit of nob bikers all armed differently. What is the probable loss of each unit?...

Art:
You may not be a natural painter, or you may be a grand master. Either way it is fun to paint and mix colours in lil pots.

Geography:
Check out the lay of the land, measure distances and line of sight. And much more fun than putting a ping-pong ball down a stream!

Construction:
To any one that has scratch built a 40k scale titan...I salute you.

Languages:
Do you speak fluent Eldar? A spot of tau to get you by? Enough Ork to keep you out of trouble and decipher abusive glyphs scrawled on your buggy?

History:
A probable fact that most players can name all the first founding primarchs, but not who the first 20 presidents were...

GYM:
This goes out to the horde players, who enjoy loading up on as many cases and bags as they can carry.

LAW:
...is RAW :)

Any others?

Debate - Everyone is always arguing over.....well, just about everything.

Antiquities - Is that model Rogue Trader or 2nd edition? And who sculpted it?

Religion - Who doesn't enjoy a little Imperial dogma?

Awesome. This made me :)
And there is always “Logic” with Professor Bigmaw, Ork Runtherd:

“Travellin’ through space is boring. Well, boring unless da hulk yer on is full of dem gene-sneakers, or a base fer da Chaos lads wiv da spikes, or already has Boyz on it. Or if humie lootas come callin’, that’s always good fer a bit of sport. Or unless yer have a mutiny or two to pass da time, or unless strange fings start happenin’, which dey usually do when yer out in da warp. One time we had some bloody great ugly fing come straight out of Weird Lugwort’s ‘ed! It butchered half da lads, that was pretty entertainin’. Come ter fink of it, space is a pretty good larf. And that’s before yer find yerself a new world ta crush!”
