Hi all,

Thought I would share my 40k scale Warlord Titan that I am slowly building! I'm not sure what forum policy is regarding external links, but you can view my build log at: http://www.paulfrymire.com.

It's a PVC tube frame with a foamboard external structure that will be laminated with plasticard/styrene before the final details are added to the body. It's theme will be Grey Knight, and I am currently figuring out the logistics of creating a head possessing characteristics of a jousting helmet like this: http://www.swordandstone.com/armour/armourimages/sallethelmet_f.jpg. It will also veer off from the traditional Warlord Titan look by featuring ornate carvings in its armor panels.

Some features that I have/will incorporate:
- fully rotating and detachable torso
- swappable and fully rotating weapon arms
- swappable shoulder weapons
- swappable head

My current plan for the weapon loadout is:
1 carapace mounted Double-barreled Turbo-laser
1 carapace mounted Vulcan Mega-bolter
1 Titan close combat weapon in the form of a sword
1 Plasma Destructor

I would love feedback on my build thus far, as well as feedback on what characteristics you think I should incorporate in a Grey Knight Titan.

I'm not sure if replying to my own thread is the best way to get this answer questioned, but I don't want to spam the forum with threads, so I'll give this a shot.

I've just finished up the swappable shoulders for my Warlord and I decided that instead of reinventing the wheel for shoulder weapons, I'd just use Forgeworld stuff. Does anyone know if the barrel ends of the Warlord Titan Turbo Laser arm and Plasma Blastgun arm come seperated from the back of the gun where the arm connects? From the photos on Forgeworld's site, it looks like the Turbo Laser barrels do come seperate, but I can't tell with the Plasma Blastgun.

Any help is appreciated!

Looks great!!! You should have banners just streaming off the shoulders and between the legs to show how honoured it is. A pulpit with loud hailers for a member of the ecclesiarchy would look cool on the head or between the shoulders!

Forgeworld do a Warlord Titan? hehe, you mean Warhound right? Ive got a Chaos Warhound and the Plasma Blastgun comes 95% complete, you get the shoulder pivot ball and plasma canisters seperate.

Hi all,

Just another quick build update on my Warlord Titan. I just finished the shoulder weapon pieces that will be held in place magnetically for ease of swapping out weapons. As you can see in the photos below, removing them exposes a hole in the torso that allows access to the wingnut that will be used to hold the arms in their sockets and allow them to pivot. My goal is to have this thing seperate into legs, torso, arms and shoulders for easy transportation as well as customization. I've put out a commission request on Rogue-Market for quotes on having a barbute style head built for this monster, as I lack the skills!

My next task will be to wrap up the framing up of the torso, then focus on wrapping up the legs. After that, I will start working on a set of arms that I can at least use as proxies for Apoc games while I slowly finish this thing up.

As always, I welcome any feedback you might have!
