Sponson Weapons

I began thinking about this and haven't been able to find a ruling that clarifies whether a tank can fire both sponson weapons if it moves at cruising speed.

I've always considered sponsons one weapons system without giving it much thought, as one buys them as a pair; but considering that they are both targeted and rolled for separately I suddenly wondered whether I was wrong...

If a tank moves 6" and thus only can fire one weapon, and it has a pair mounted on sponsons - can the tank fire both (assuming LOS and range is okay) or only one of them?

They are each a seperate weapon bought at a discount as a pair.

See, thinking about it like that made the rules seem far more clear when I re-read them. Thanks for snapping me out of whatever strange idea I had stuck in my head. :)
