The kit in the end is 18 parts and stands 8 inchs tall.

I've been following the Knight on Bartertown, very much looking forward to the release and quite tempted to pick one up, my question would be what head variants if any do you have? Brilliant work all around!

Right now the only head completed is the one for this current class knight. I do have another head started for the warden class as well as 2 more in really early stages of work for the other class knights I plan to do.

Just molds for the knight titan kit. I rarely paint anything I build for people. Most people like to paint thier own super heavies.

Not exactly sure on the type of resin as its my partner/caster doing that side of the project. I do know he only uses the top quality resin, on par with FW.

These first three will be assembled (over at the Conversion Corner) to show off the possible poses, and finished to offer detailing ideas. To date, this is the largest and most complex "garage kit" I have ever produced. It rocks the scales at over 600-grams!! 8)

Heheh sorta. I wanted a head that GW cant sue me over. If it had been a knight head, it would have been just enough IP snagging to make the kit illegal. With the head the way it is, not like GW IP... the kit is simple a mech knight titan.

Either way though, its not like the kit is awlays going to be for sale. In fact, once the mold makes the final few kits, its done.

And whoever gave me a 5 star, thanks! means alot to an old coot like me.

Ok people, this is where I need some expert opinions. Hell, any opinions will work

Im debating on holding of on the next variant to instead expand the options for the paladin. Such as new head, new shoulders and shin armor and a different weapon lay out.

Or should I finish the warden class that has a differetn torso, head and weapon arms?

Also any one that has some good designs for heads, that would be great.

Anyone that can give me some ideas to work with, ill give them a discount off buying any future kits.

There are 5-7 nurglings on the tank scrattered about. A few of them are hanging out in slime pools inside of the old hatchs.

I love nurglings lol.

2 new WIP weapon arms as of last week. They are the dual mini cannon arm (counts as twin heavy bolter) and a heat cannon arm (counts as either a multi melta or an inferno cannon.

Small update on the Knight kit.

All the new weapon arms are done.
1 of the 2 new heads is done.
Bother new armor designs are done.

So, the new kit will have the choice of 3 heads, 8 different weapon arms (4 ranged and 4 CC) as well as 3 armor designs. *(studded, smooth with trim and layered plate)

Ive given all the parts to a friend to take pictures of today. (it sure is nice to work with someone at the 9-5 that doesnt care about actually working haha.

Im working on a chaos warlord for a client but no pics will be available until its done. Hes pretty addiment about me waiting until he paints it. Dunno why... But the client is always right haha.

So, this project started as a commission but then the client was deploed to Iraw and no longer wanted or had time to play 40k. So, its now my own personal project/army.

Some facts the client wanted that im going to stick with:

1) Alot of technology in the army. Crude tech but tech still.

2) Pale skin.

3) Some kind of fancy rengade helmet. GS, kit bash, whatever. I went the kit bash route as its easiest and as such cheapest money wise for the client.

4) Fluff wise is they come from a world thats sole use to the imperium is mining minerals. The surface is similiar to mars (present day). The caves themselves that have been dug quickly grow a fungus. The fungus itself is what feeds the miners of the planet.

5) Heavy on the conversions in the army for everything except tanks. He will have minmal tanks when its done as they are a "miners gone bad group" as he puts it.

Thats about it. From that I came up with these things:

Bases: Rocky like mars but not as red. Some grass to spice it up along with the random piece of metal scrap.

Approved color scheme: Its got the olive green ala the fungus in the caves and its got an off light pale red as the armor color to match the surface.

Heavy Weapons Teams: In keeping with the tech theme the weapon teams are actually a robot gun with a "driver". Basically its based off the new mobile m60 gun platforms the US military is starting to use. Obviously alot bigger since its the imperium but basically the same thing. The guy driving it is free to shot at whatever as the gun fires itself.

The gunner will be be removable for casuality reasons.

Sentinal: Robot walker basically from the mines. Now its fitted for cobat with a nice lascannon. I cant take credit for the design. I cant remember exactly where I saw it but someone made something just like it as a blood pack stalk tank. Idea snagged. Although his is better.

And finally some nice conversions. The army itself is lead by tech priests. So, here is the army commander and 4 of his "custom" servitors. Ive always like the idea of tech priests making thier own servitors in a style they like. My guy likes animals. In this case, a Fly, a Fish, a Boar and a servo skull with body haha.

Thanks a bunch. The client sent me some reference pictures of it so I recreated that style. When it was done, alot of people on various forums said they were to wide since the FW one is so thin. I and the client figured, wider means more room for terminators to exit easily. :)

The warhounds, thawks and almost everything is scratch built from different sized plastic card. The knight kit was made from plastic card, different putties and various odds and ends then cast to be made in resin.

Titans arent a part of chapters per say. Rather then are part of the Adeptus Mechanicus forces and deployed in support of Imperial armies. And chaos armies for that matter.

To me, all titans, are awesome haha.

That specific priest is some servo dude from a tank kit, not sure which, servo arm modified, termi double chain fist, and an old limited editon possessed tentical.

Fluff wise the its basically a super CC servitor with a bit better free thought. The lower half was an experiment by the tech priests to make something that could cover rough terrain quickly in the confines of the forgeworld they call home, but, it failed and he has normal speed but does like to run in the new edition. :lol:

As such, this tech priest is just that.. so no fancy paint job. He still needs touch ups and chipped paint but other then the basing hes done.

EDIT LOLOL the above head o this page is NOT the head or any of the options for it. That was simply a joke the caster put on when posing the first kits before shipping them to me. That is NOT one of the heads for sale... Stupid me being tired and not reading everything.

Hehe I did shorten it by almost an inch.. I left it that long because I play alot of games that are on 12 foot tables to having a gun that can fire across the board is awesome and should be a bit long.. but i agree, not like the original model. Haha.

As for me finishing projects and forgetting about you, thats not the case. My wife being sick did put me back, thats why i havent been taking new commissions. Only my kit is sold and thats done with the heavy help of the caster himself, not me. In the mean time Im finishing OLD commissions to get them all out of the way for the holidays. This IS my job.

Start of a plague tower for them. They arent really nurgle per say, so ive gone for a more tech look on the tower itself. It still needs alot of putty work, rivets, detailing and then weathering before painting.

Sorry for the blurryness, ill try and get better pics as it progresses.

Tracks are not glued on, and the tower itself will ride a bit higher on the tracks then where its placed now.

Alright folks...

Ill keep it brief as my time is very limited.

This force is the start of a 3000 point Black Legion army that leans heavily to Khorne. The first 750 points are the start of a tourney so for now, the army will have 1 selection from HQ, Elite, ect.

Paint scheme will be black with red shoulders and helmets and brass trim. If anyone has a better scheme, im all open for it.

Pictures will be added all this evening as I get a few minutes here and there when not taking care of my wife.

First up, Elite choice. Heavily converted dreadnought. I originally made itto be a truescale dread to go with a truscale army but that fell through. So, now hes just a big maama jamma.

That Daemon Prince is top notch. Great dynamic pose and it has a real "wow" factor to it.

I tried to go for something unique, im glad I suceeded. its also nice to know the base was made to cocer most battle fields.


Agreed, where did you get that head from?

Ogre Kingdrom Yehti head. I had to spend an arm and a leg for it on ebay like a fool but it was the only head that fit perfect on the LoC body.

Ive changed the head and might go with that style to replace the old one that no one seemed to really like. Even i admit, it wasnt the greatest. This one though, is much nicer.

Im open to any weapon or head ideas, art is helpful but a good amount of written detail will work as well for future upgrades. New upgrade parts have already gone to the caster, such as various heads, armor styles and a whole slew of new arms.

EDIT - Its on a dragon forge base by Jeff. He does amazing work and has super fast turn around. Ive done many orders from him for myself and clients and hes always come through with flying colors. I cant recommend him enough.

I think another option for a head could just be the above one with slits for eyes instead of those orbs, it'll look older. Gatling guns would be nice too.
