2-Headed Nurgle Chaos Dragon WIP

[Brass Scorpion]

Two-headed Nurgle Chaos Dragon conversion work in progress. This shows the main conversion work of building the model with two heads and necks including the Apoxie Sculpt sculpting work blending the parts to the body. An extra vertebrae and ribs with accompanying detail have been sculpted in the neck join.

I can't help but think he'd benefit from a few more extra vertebra being sculpted to reangle at least one of his heads up higher.

This Nurgle Chaos Dragon conversion is now almost complete. A few more plastic bits and some additional sculpted details have been added since the previous stage. A removable back banner will likely be added and the scenic base done up a bit, then painting will begin.

It's really starting to shape up nicely. This should be great once it's been painted up.

At first I thought this same thing, but one of the things that always bugged me about the Warhammer monsters is that they never seem to be in a pose that would threaten rank-and-file infantry. Most of the old Dragons are reared up, to make them seem larger and taller, but are basically presenting their weak underbellies to enemy troops. This one seems to be in a pose that would indicate using breath weapons and jaws to annihilate man-sized models while the rider surveys the battle, trying to spy his counterpart in the enemy lines. I like it.
