Dear Forum,
I was figuring out how daemon works and came up with this:

HQ
- Herald of Tzeentch (95)
+ chariot, bolt of tzeentch
- Herald of Tzeentch (95)
+ chariot, bolt of tzeentch

Elite
- 3 Bloodcrushers (135)
+ fury of khrone, instrument of chaos
- 3 Bloodcrushers (135)
+ fury of khrone, instrument of chaos
- 3 Bloodcrushers (135)
+ fury of khrone, instrument of chaos

Troops
- 5 Pink Horrors (100)
+ bolt of tzeentch, Changeling
- 5 Pink Horrors (95)
+ bolt of tzeentch
- 5 Pink Horrors (95)
+ bolt of tzeentch
- 5 Pink Horrors (95)
+ bolt of tzeentch
- 5 Pink Horrors (95)
+ bolt of tzeentch
- 5 Pink Horrors (95)
+ bolt of tzeentch

Fast Attack
- 10 Seekers (170)
- 10 Seekers (170)

= 1500 points

Advice would be great,

Do you know the mechanics of deployment, etc? Everything must deepstrike. The only worries I have are that you are going to accidently mishap your seeker squads. Their extra range should help, but idk. Other than that, may your bolts always pen!

I think I missed something.
I already know their mechanics of deployment (aka daemonic assault) and this is an order of a wave I will be sending:

Wave 1: 2 heralds, 4 pink horrors, 1 pink horror with changeling
Wave 2: 1 pink horror, 2 seekers, 3 bloodcrushers

First wave arrives to deal with whatever is necessary and second wave arrives to fill the roles.
I'm not following you, but why would the seekers suffer mishaps? Don't units like crushers and horrors suffer mishaps too? Unlike crushers, I can place seekers in a safe place and assault after the turn they arrive.

I think we was referring to the fact that the Seeker squads are so big, that will will scatter into things. Have you thought about 3 squads of 6?

Not bad by any stretch, though I'd prefer Fiends and Hounds over Crushers and Seekers, even a mix would be fine.

Mm, do you have a plan for AV14? Landraider builds would grin at this army as it stands.

Best bet is to mostly ignore them as the large point sink they are. You can always use all those Bolts to get a glance off to keep them from moving/firing their weapons, which means 250 points do nothing (plus being AP1 you might get that lucky 6 to actually destroy one). Everything else is built to murderize troops.

I'm more of a 1 Bloodcrusher unit 2 Fiend unit kind of guy, but I like what you are trying to do here. And yeah, as Chumbalaya said, Hounds would be nice as well.

I would ask yourself this question first..... is this list any fun?

I play daemons and adding a bunch of tzeentch has its merits, but too much could easily make it lack luster army to play.

I would add some marks, to counter the deepstrike randomness.

I think you mean Icons, and the only time it's worth the 25 point sink is when it's for wound allocation nonsense on Bloodcrushers.

This is not some sort of tzeentch theme army, but rather trying to find a way to kill my opponent during the alpha strike and deep strike. Two heralds and five units of horrors go first and zap whatever they can find, from transports to infantry. Then the rest of the army comes in play to fill in the role. I have 9 crushers to soak up any firepower and 20 seekers to catch up anything leftover. Hounds may be great at killing infantry, but I already have horrors to do that and I really need seekers' rending attacks to reliably deal with vehicles. A single land raider will not scare me, as I will focus on killing the other things.

I really don't need icons at this point, since everyone except the crushers have dangerous range potentials (up to 24"). And crushers of course provide cover for everyone and scare my opponent to pull something ridiculous.

Otherwise thanks forum, for another comments will be appreciated.

The Hounds suggestion isn't really for infantry, but in general against Grey Knights. Having a 2+ save to counter their Preferred Enemy can make a big difference.

What are the advantages to using Khorndogs? I'm a Tyranid player and have very little experience with daemons, but my fiance is starting to play them and I'd like to be able to help her.
