Figured I'd promote a game that a club-mate of mine was finally published this past weekend after 3 years of development - http://www.brinkofbattle.com/
It's a fun and engaging skirmish game w/ different rules for 3 time periods - Ancient/Medieval, Early Modern, Modern. The core rules are the same for all time periods, but there are some tweaks that separate them from each other. It's pretty streamlined (only 3 characteristic stats) and encourages creativity (naming models = more pts to spend lol). I believe some of the basic rules and charts on on the website, so please check it out!
