Lots of anti-infantry is nice, but what do you do against armor. Hope the HG handle it?

Venom Cannons help versus vehicles as needed. Also S6 templates work on AV11 vehicles so the hive guard don't need to carry ALL the weight of AV duties.

But yes vehicle spam i imagine to be quite an uphill battle when i encounter it, but everything in my army is capable of damaging vehicles including the gautns with furious charge.
