So it was time to fight the new Wolves:

Take and Hold with Spearhead, Eldar to place and move first, Wolves managed to steal initiative.

This were the armies being played:

Ragnar, 9 Grey Hunters, Melta, PF, Rhino
Ulrik, 9 Blood Claws, Melta, PF, Rhino
15 Blood Claws, 2 Flamer, PF (Reserves)
Venerable Dreadnought with LasCannon an ML
6 Long Fangs with Anti Tank specialisation
3 Biker with Melta

Edlrad, Yriel, 8 warlocks, with enhance and embolden with serpent
5 Dragons with Serpent
2x3 Jetbikes (held in reserve)
2 WW with 4 SL (outflanking)
2 Fire Prisms with spirit stones and holo fields

Eldar placed units, Wolves reacted, thanks to divination, the serpents changed places with the drangons threatening the Dread now. Wolves stole initiative.

Round 1:
The rhinos rushed towards the Eldar Lines, the Bikers, the dread and the LongFangs failed to destroy the dragons serpent. Edrad fortuned his serpent and rushed towards the wolfes line, the dragons ripped the dreads lascannon apart, the fire prisms killed 3 Long Fangs.

Round 2:
Ragnar and his unit boltered the Dragons to death, the Biker kill the Dragonserpent, the LongFangs, the newly arrived Blood Claw unit and Ulriks unit manage to wreck the fortuned serpent, Eldrad, Yriel and the council standing between the wolves. Eldrad fortunes Yriel, fortunes the council and himself and dooms the Blood Claws. The WW arrive behind the LongFangs and pepper the remaining 3. Yriel bombs away 2/3 of the BloodClaws and survives the feedback thanks to fortune. Eldrad and the council slice Ulrics unit in half and the Fire Prisms decimate Ragnars unit by 4.

Round 3:
The Dread immobilizes 1 WW, Ragnars unit head towards the wolf objective, the bikers rush towards the eldar objective. Yriel kills the power fist claw and takes one wound from the rest, Ulric looses the rest of his unit, the warlock survive fortuned the second round unharmed (lost 1 so far).
In the Eldars turn, the Prisms kill 2 bikers, the WW kill 3 of Ragnars unit, Yriel kills the last BloodClaws and Eldrad and the council finish Ulric off. The jetbike units enter play and boost towards both objectives.

Round 4:
The Dread kills 1 WW, the Biker fails to kill one fire Prism with his Melta, Ragnar and his unit miss the second WW.
In the Eldar turn, Eldrad and the council slice the venerable dreadnought, the Prisms kill the last Biker, Yriel charges the rest of Ragnars unit and survies ...

The Jetbikes claim both objectives, the wolves give up ...

Congrats... It seems that the list worked out well. Interesting list choices from your opponent.

I agree. 2 major HQs in a 1500 is a bit top heavy. plus a couple of cheap rune priests would have threatened the potent psychics of Eldrad. But hats of to the Eldar for the win, well played!

Thank you.

He wanted to annihilated tiny little eldar in cc ... so he took Ulric and Ragnar .. and was dissappointed, that there was no T5 or tougher creature in my army ... ;)

I am sure heŽll take a runepriest next time - then i will play a bit more carefull (maybe in reserve until the priest is dead ... ;)

Eldar are always a bit tricky to play against, with their special rules that ignore most rules. Vehicles that have so many saves/upgrades that you'll die just looking at it :S. Best thing against Eldar is take as many long range as you can and criple their vehicles from there its easy (if you can pull that off). I really hate those skimmers but its always big fun and a challenge to play against.
