Today I've seen a preview of the GW Christmass Catalogue:
the Dark Angels' Fortress seems confirmed. The price will be 78 €.

Where did you see it? What other goodies did you see?

I remember a large omnious box guarded by red shirts at GD-UK - maybe it was there?
Too bad the queues of Mutants got there first.

Why would they take it to GD-UK and not show anybody?

A GW studio contact told me back in the summer that the Indomitable Fortress model would see release and probably sometime after Space Wolves. It's nice to hear the information was correct and that GW did not change their mind or push this back indefinitely, I'd like to have one of those models myself.

Yes, thanks for sharing, ceralk. A GW manager teased me recently with the news that I'd really like this year's gift-type items in December, but he couldn't say exactly what yet, and since I moved most of my in-store activities from the Battle Bunker/HQ to a smaller GW store several weeks ago, I no longer get "sneak peek" info as far ahead as I often used to get it.

This is GW we are talking about.

This is true, and we're talking about red shirts.

The word over on warseer is that there's a $200 box for space marines as well as orks.

Awesome more Dark Angels love and more objectives for Planetstrike.

Two great things in one box as far as I see.

:D I thought they might release it for Christmas!
Just the right opportunity for " Please Mum- Love-Darling thats all I really want for Christmas!" Delete unwanted discription!;)

Interesting. I heard that it was scraped because the model (as seen in the PS book) was to complex to break down into a cost effective sprue.

I have heard during the summer a "red shirt" GW staff in France saying the same.
As they are not allways reliable i was not really trustfull.
But i'm glad to heard it now from bols. I really do hope that we will have It from XMas.

That's a beautifull piece of scenery.

Without giving too much away, the contact that told me the Fortress would be released is at a significantly different level than front line retail, so I know this model is coming out for release to the public.

No matter, it is a sick model, with great rules. I look forward to buying several.

We all know that November sees the release of the new Skaven army book and new range of figures.
But did you also know that Games Workshop are planning some Warhammer 40000 releases and re-releases.
Re-releases include: The Imperial Sector(£48.95), The Imperial Strongpoint(£53.85) and the Space Marine Megaforce(£97.85 contents as yet unknown).
New release include: Ork Megaforce(£97.85 contents unknown) and the Fortress of Redemption(£58.70).
Yes folks, GW are releasing the Dark Angels Fortress as pictured in the Planetstrike codex.
Warhammer releases include the Empire Brigade and a Orc & Goblin Brigade(£97.85 each)
The release date for the above items has been confirmed as the 28th November. All prices shown above are Games Workshop RRP's. These models will be in the advanced order section as soon as we have confirmation of quantities available to us.
