I always keep an eye out for sculpts that could be used to represent things from the Mass Effect universe, or could be easily converted to do so. Thouht I'd post some of them here in case others are interested.

First a couple that aren't available yet, from Mantics Dreadball:

The not-quite Salarian Judwan, there will be a team of these

The not-quite Geth Wyn Greth'zki MVP

I'm rather hoping Mantic will go the whole hog and give us a not-quite Asari team in the future, plus the female Corporation team may be suitable with just some headswaps.

T-PEA Troopers from Antenocitis workshop look like they could make foor Asari/Eclipse mercenaries with a little modification (more if bareheaded Asari are desired)

Grind her head off and sculpt on some Asari hair tentacles...

Mantic Enforcers would make excellent Cerberus troopers:

Umm, there were more but I've forgotten them...

Ok, so here are some comparrison pics of some of the minis I had promised Lady EldarGal:

Infinity & Antenocitis T-Pea (for my bunghole):

Infinity and Frogan (shoulda said Fauxgan). Not that the Frogan also has further 'lifts' under his feet, making him closer to true 28mm or even 25mm than heroic 30 scale:

Infinity & Sedition Wars (might work as James "Trapezius Maximus" Vega):

Other SW minis are closer in size to Infinity.

Here's a lineup (very wide picture) (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-UOsFhlyOULk/UFIOoX4tLkI/AAAAAAAABoM/HqQniDK6Wbs/s1600/MEsize01.jpg), with Sedition Wars, Hasslefree (sameish as other SW figures), Infinity, Frogan, Antenocitis, Infinity.

For the Frogan, large detail pics, showing that CAD and print has a way to go yet - these are using the highest detail / finest material.

The frogan are tiny really.:( I think perhaps based on your pictures that T-Pea and Infinity would mix quite well. T-Pea are metal yes? A litlte effort in filing down the beak thing on the helmet to make it look more like one of the ME helmets but perhaps not too difficult.

I'm actually tempted to hire a sculptor to make a few Asari heads to a high standard then cast them up to save considerable effort sculpting each one individually.

T-Pea are metal, yes.

Sculpting Asari heads suuuuuuucks. Also the wide scale differences between, say, Infinity, Antenocitis and Sedition Wars means getting the size right would require a fair bit of pre-planning.

I'm hinking I will settle on one or two ranges and have two lots of heads made to fit each of them.

The store also has a 28mm BroShep and some 54mm figures of BroShep and Liara and possibly a couple of others.

Hi all,

I'm the guy who made the Frogan and since this thread shows up in nearly every search on Mass Effect miniatures, I wanted to make sure people knew I had recognized the sizing/proportion shortcomings with my Frogan and had made adjustments. I now offer Fauxgan on my shapeways store (https://www.shapeways.com/shops/admiralducksauce). These are more along the lines of the Mass Effect 3 krogan soldier armor, with separate heads and arms. As for the level of 3D printing detail, I agree metal would be best but shapeways' Ultra Detail material is an order of magnitude better than their normal materials. I have some pics:

A painted fauxgan with helmet, front and back:

A rather spottily primed (my fault, the humidity was crazy) fauxgan next to two Infinity minis:

I also offer some "Spurian" headsculpts (https://www.shapeways.com/search?q=spurian) in a small range of sizes.
