To help herald in the new chaos codex and models, Millennium Games in Rochester NY will be running a 40k lock-in on Saturday, October 20th.
Time: Registration to start around 6:30pm and the first round will kick off around 7:30pm
Cost: $15 - Includes Pizza
...Format: 1850pts, book missions and full book rules. So fortifications and allies are allowed. The new chaos book will be valid so this way everyone can test it out in a tournament setting before the Da Boyz GT.

** This is not a qualifier for the December Championship event.
For this event we will be adding a twist. Since this is a Chaos geared event, we are going to divide the players into a Good force and an Evil force. Depending on what army you bring will decide what force you will be playing for.
Good force will be comprised of:
Space Marines
Space Wolves
Blood Angels
Dark Angels
Imperial Guard
Grey Knights
Sisters of Battle
Tau
Eldar
Evil forces will be comprised of:
Chaos Marines
Chaos Daemons
Dark Eldar
Tyranids
Orks
Necrons
If you are running an allied list then what ever is the primary force will determine your side. So an Eldar list with Dark Eldar allies will be a Good force while Chaos Marines with Imperial Guard allies will be an evil force.
** Note - If there is an uneven turnout of good versus evil players then we may need to swap some armies to different forces. So if there are more good forces playing then a guard or xeno's army may play on the evil side.
Prizes will be awarded to the top scoring Good player and top scoring Evil player of the night. While painting is not required for this event, we will be holding a painting contest for the best model or unit. This way people who do not have a fully painted army can still enter in pieces that they are working on while people with fully painted armies can enter their best model. Voting will be done by your peers.
And to round out this event, we will be holding a 25 question Chaos pub quiz that covers fluff from past codex's and Black Library novels. There will be a special prize for the person who gets the most answers correct.
