Legion of the Danmed as Iron Hands

I was looking at the LOTD special rules, and it struck me that they might actually work as counts-as Iron Hands veterans. The rules for a tough, relentless, fearless space marine fits my vision for a Iron Hand veteran. The invul save and slow and purposeful can maybe help represent the bionic replacements that Iron hands vets would probably gain over time.

I understand LOTD aren't competitive army choices, but for a fluffy, firendly game has anyone seen something like this?

Aye, would if I could. But my gf (the only person I know of you would play with me), already picked a name and fluff style for her custom chapter we're gonna build up to face my orks. Although, always the future ;)
