On behalf of all profiteers, can I thank you for taking copies out of the hands of those pesky collectors. They really have no right to expect one at cover price even if they are dark angels fans since the year dot and your unselfish act in buying as many as you can afford to sell at Profit does the market a great service.

Your application to work in the marketing appartment of GW is in the post.

On behalf of all profiteers, can I thank you for taking copies out of the hands of those pesky collectors. Your application to work in the marketing appartment of GW is in the post. The book was on sale for days at the GW website, yet as always there are people who fail to order it while it's available no matter how long it's for sale or how many copies there were available. That's just simple fact, which is why there will always be after market sales. And "collectibles" are also a fact of life, that's why people buy them and why they appreciate. Someone already got $300 for one of these books.

Another example, Brotherhood Of The Storm was available in UNLIMITED quantities for a whole week, yet people still failed to order it during the allotted time and still pay more than list price for it on eBay now that it is out of print. Is that the fault of the people who had the foresight to buy some to sell? It didn't rob anyone of the chance to order it and yet it's a collectible already and already going for more than list.

It's also a fact of life that for some reason some people in the Warhammer hobby always seem to feel there's something "dirty" about collectibles sales. Why don't people like that go troll the collector plates, collector spoons, etc. forums? Or perhaps Picasso owners should sell their paintings at the original sales value out of the kindness of their hearts. Try to get an antique dealer to sell you an 18th century cabinet for its original cost while you're at it because the mark-up on collectibles is somehow immoral. I'm sure anyone with a Sgt. Centurius model will also sell it to you for the original sales price of $8 and a Bonesinger model for the original $12-$13 should also be easy to find. Anyone selling those for more than that now must be evil.

Also, I've never heard of a marketing "appartment".
