It seems in all the faeit212 hubub, folks have missed what (for me) is the much larger bomb to be dropped. GW seems to be finally stopping production of all metal miniatures (largely the specialist lines but also 40k collector items + IG metal models etc) + forgeworld Epic(inc aeronautica imperialis) & BFG.

There has been no official announcement (when is there ever?) but several calls to GW and Forgeworld have resulted in being told that no more are being produced and they will go out of stock as the last remaining stock is bought.

As someone who's main loves were Epic, BFG, Warmaster & Necromunda it seems that GW will finally be dead to me.

Specialist Games, R.I.P.

It is discussed here: http://www.lounge.belloflostsouls.net/showthread.php?31223-While-Supplies-Last-Specislist-Games

Why oh why does everyone end up creating things in one of the 40k subfora I have no idea...

One can only hope that these games will be released as splash releases like Space Hulk (big sucess) and Dread Fleet / Manowar (less of a sucess).

There are several Blood Bowl rumours flying around, but I've not heard about the others.
