The NOVA Open (http://www.novaopen.com/) convention will be hosting three days of Infinity tournaments this year. The Saturday ITS tournament is set to be one of the largest Infinity tournaments anywhere with a total of 32 players.
The NOVA Open will be August 29th through September 1 at the Crystal City Hyatt in Arlington, Virginia. Our current Infinity line up looks like this:
Friday, August 30, 8pm-Midnight: Infinity Hunger Games
Saturday, August 31, 10:15am-8:45pm: Infinity ITS tournament
Saturday, August 31, 9pm-1am: Infinity Hunger Games
Sunday, September 1, 10am-6pm: Infinity Team Tournament
Corvus Belli is massively supporting the NOVA Open Infinity events this year and have given us a huge amount of prize support:
- Every swag bag will include an Infinity pin
- Each of our eighty VIP bags will include a free Infinity miniature and Infinity poster
- Corvus Belli gave us unit TAG boxes, unit boxes, signed rulebooks and other items (scenery, markers, etc) to award as tournament prizes
- We will be holding daily raffles where convention attendees can win signed Infinity art prints and signed Infinity rulebooks
- And last but not least, we have been given one of every Tohaa model released to award as the Infinity tournament grand prize.
Last year was the premiere of Infinity at the NOVA Open with a one day event with 16 players. Infinity was such a hit we decided to increase the number of events and the number of players.
In working with Corvus Belli we are trying to make the NOVA Open one of the signature events for Infinity. Come join us for three days of great games and celebration of Infinity.
