I am stripping old metal (and plastic) miniatures and would like to pick up an Ultrasonic Cleaner to improve/expedite the process. If you have experience with an Ultrasonic system that works well, please post it up!! If you have a system that does not work well and I should avoid, warn me!
Follow-up question: What chemicals do you use in your Ultrasonic Machine? I currently use a 24-48 hour bath of Simple Green to remove old paint from both plastic and metal - followed by scrubbing with an old electric toothbrush. I occasionally use more aggressive cleaners for metal miniatures after removing the bases.
I would like to order a ultrasonic cleaner (probably from Amazon) by the end of the week.
