So im sure ive seen a load of piccies of this as a wargame, can anyone point me in the right direction regarding rules and figs for HG Wells war of the worlds? Cheers pops.

I think Spartan Games did a War of the Worlds style Martian army for one of their systems? Dystopian Wars perhaps.
