You guys read it correctly!

This thread is for submissions for the BoLS 2009 Readers Choice Awards for the BEST WARHAMMER FANTASY PRODUCT of 2009. Entries can be any miniature, plastic kit, codex, or other Games Work/Forgeworld item that was released in 2009.

We will tally these up in one week, and open up the finalists for a reader's choice poll to determine the winner.

Have at it! (there is a matching 40K Post in the 40K-General forum)

In my opinion one of the best metal figures ever.

Skaven Doom Wheel. I don't even like the Skaven that much, but the Doom Wheel is a very impressive model.

I have a number of models I could recommend. Plastic Stegadon for the versatility of the kit, Temple of Skulls for the advancement it gives to plastic terrain in GW, Screaming Bell/Plague Furnace for pushing the power of the moulds, and Warhammer Basing Kit.

However... Greater Daemon of Tzeentch wins over them all.

Plastic Greatswords. Comes with two pimp-hats with 6 foot feathers. Need I say more?

There are a bunch out there. GW has been doing a great job with their plastic kits the past couple years but my vote goes to the Plastic Stegadon.

I like Skaven, they're just cool. Skaven in a giant hamster ball with guns powered by warpstone is even cooler. The Doomwheel gets my vote.

Definately the Stedagon. Fantastic model, and not over priced. (none of the army books apply for a nomination:D)

Screaming bell and the new Stegadon. Also the High Elf dragon.

Skaven army book. Turned these guys from a one-dimensional shooty list to a grab bag of awesome. Increasing flexibility and variety while still keeping them all viable is what army books should be all about. Skaven has it in spades.

As far as the armies I personally play, a bit of a weak year. My favorite single mini is the 2009 Gamesday Chaos Lord, but the Skaven Doomwheel has my overall vote as the 'Best' product.

Uniforms and heraldry of the Empire is in my view the best fantasy product to come out all year. Beautifully detailed is it totally awesome for any painter hobbyist or other fluffer. That they relashed several new plastic kits to go with it was icing on the cake, but its the kind of book that I wish they did more often (and its totally balanced, how many new WFB books can you say that about?)

I am going to have to say either the plastic stegadon or the new stormvermin. The new stormvermin legitimately make me feel bad for not being able to fit them into my list

1) Skaven Screaming Bell / Plague Furnace boxed set. The adaptability of the kit is brilliant, and when you build one you get spares.
2) Doomwheel

1 submission each, or can i just throw a list like those above? :D

For me, barring those already said, I have to say 'The Chase'.

Azhag was this year wasn't he?

Anyway, either Azhag or the new Greater Daemon of Tzeentch.

For sheer size, spectacle plus the versatility of two different builds in one box, I'll vote for the Skaven Plague Furnace/Screaming Bell kit. I'm partial to dinosaurs so the Stegadon's a close second.

Azhag. The Orcs were in need of some Wyvern love.
