There is two Geckos in Angels blocked out teaser pic, so just wonder if it will be a two Gecko box, or if it will be a single box with arm options for both loadouts.

Yeah, Pano are my least favorite faction, just not my thing. But at least this boxset contains a brand new unit in Bolts, so PanO players are pretty excited about them.

This in itself is cool, as it shows how CB add new units without the need of new book release. A free downloadable PDF with rules will follow so they can be used straight away. We should see a sprinkling of new units across multiple factions as the new book gets closer (2015 ish).

Wayland have the Geckos up for pre-order..BUT...they have a different RRP price that makes them more expensive than buying them direct. Wayland are usually cheaper?
I wonder if the price will change? I'm not buying mine just yet. If it doesn't I'll buy direct from corvus Belli.

Wow. That Sun Tze is fantastic.

The Witch Soldiers are also fantastic.

The TOmcat box is a nice reboxing of two figures (and the doctor is a sweet addition too). The catbot is a bit weird though. That being said, it's no weirder than that cat doctor or the pupniks so if you play Nomads you should be used to "weird".

New base size, too (for these. Older models will remain on their older base sizes). 55mm.
Apparently 50mm were too small and 60mm were too large.
But 40mms with extensions (which tend to run to a linear size of 55mm anyway) were also not chosen.

No, it's unfortunate if you happen to speak the language that it's unfortunate in, regardless of your knowledge of other languages. One of the dangers of translations, and it's the reason why media adaptions often change names. And the number of languages you speak is not a quantifier if your personal value, either.

Just because someone can make the rather obvious observation that a word in a foreign language is similar to another in a more common language doesn't indicate they know fewer languages. Quite the opposite actually.

The Left4Dead cover is a good counter example. The American release had a zombie hand on the cover making a gesture that was totally innocent in the USA, but obscene in other countries. As a result, they changed the cover for foreign releases. No big deal, and no judgement on the other countries for somehow being intolerant of American culture.

The Interventors are fantastic. Much better than the old "Jazz Hands" Interventor. I'm still curious how exactly the pandas will work. I know they are repeaters but I'm curious if they have anything else like climbing plus, electric pulse, to add to their flexibility.

Looking at the coloring I originally thought that it could be a Nomad bike as those are the Tunguska Sectorial colors. However, the American flag does seem to insinuate these are likely US Ariadna.

Bikes are awesome and I wish everyone got one. I'm still miffed that ALEPH never got a pack of mad amazon bikers. I'm just starting Nomads, and if they get a bike unit, I'll be pleased.

I agree that the image above is mysterious. The bike looks more like Nomads tech, and has Nomads colors, but there's the flag... I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Yeah... they're a bit grittier and more realistic, not so much sleek and anime-esque. But I they're fine, and I think they'll fit in just fine. CB has done a good job of having Infinity straddle the line between gritty realism and over-the-top animeism.

Rumors for next month are in the MayaCast podcast. The only one I remember is a box of SWC ghulam for Haqqislam!!! I think the CA Raktorak was another one but I can't remember the rest they mentioned.

I'd imagine we'll be seeing the biker prety soon. Angel had a motorcycle of some sort greyed out on his painting desk in one of his recent posts. The Bootleg Penthesilea was already revealed so that doesn't leave many bikers other than the female Kum that is supposedly in the works.

I'm super-excited about the Ghulam SWC box. I use them all the time in my Haqqislam lists and I'm guessing that will remain true in 3rd edition when shotguns receive quite a boost at close quarters.

What I don't get on thamyris is those straps that hang around his legs?

in the manner of overalls worn half-off or suspenders (braces) worn but not actually over ones' shoulders.

They are likely to catch on the first stray item he walks past.

Not keen on his headband or thumb-to-forehead gesture. I would have preferred "bullwinkle" (both hands up, fingers spread, thums to head in the manner of antlers. Usually also waggling fingers.).

The Ghulambox don´t gets me, to much cloning in here, but useful anyway - and i don´t mean that it is bad, just too much cloning.

Do you mean too many swappable bodies/parts? Because most box sets are like that these days. My Nomad Morlocks had 2 different legs and 2 different torsos for 4 models.

New sectorals won't be out for awhile. Rumors are pretty insistent that they won't be out until the Fall of Acheron book in 2015. N3 is simply a rules update where they might introduce a few profiles but no new sectorals.

Early rumors had told, that Archeron Falls will be released in fall 2014, but i don´t think so, cause we got icestorm and N3 pending this year.

Icestorm August/September and N3 in November/December. That's what was stated at the Interplanetary event if I recall. All the major sources have stated that Carlos said Acheron Falls wouldn't be until 2015. Given that most CB books come out in the fall, we are likely looking at a year or slightly longer for the next expansion.

Eh, the quality of CB figures only gets better with time. I'm okay with parts being reused. I'm not sure I agree with the female heads in the new Ghulam box being the same. One has short cropped hair while the other has a bun. They only look alike due to the hair-gear that is identical and the angle of the photo.

Not sure what you mean about ht eprice either. These haven't been in box form...ever. The only ones that had figures before were the HMG and Hacker. Individully they would cost 10.99 USD. The box set costs 43.99 USD. 4 x 10.99 = 43.96 USD. So sure.. the box costs 3 cents more than buying them all separately but that's hardly worth quibbling about. :p

The majority of the newer box sets contain two identical legs or bodysection. In the ghulam swc box it appears to be more plain in sight. Mybe the fem heads are different but the look too much identical, i don´t like that.

Don´t know about the us prices. The € price of the ghulam swc box is about 10 % higher than the 4-model boxes before. Yes, compared to single blisters it is cheaper but this is what box sets a generally meant to be.

New Maghariba Guard is fantastic. Curious why they didn't snow any new Nomad stuff. They are supposed to be getting a couple new units for Tunguska and I am curious if they ever finalized the sculpt of the new Securitate.

FYI, they also had some point costs up for new units. The new invincibles for the Terra Cotta army are MOV4-4 CC15 BS13 PH12 WIP13 2W 3ARM 3BTS with Kinematica Lv1 and Combi Rifle for... 27 points. Sure... Low armor, but the 2W is awfully nice to have. They have an automedkit HMG model for 39 points and keep in mind these guys are supposed to be linkable.

Also details for the Kotail.

Finally, they announced September Releases.

every release looks awesome. only minor quibble I have with the creators so far is that the non firing female poses are all a bit... comic book poster-ish? the male non-action poses tend to be quite serious, like the Pan-O missile dude above, yet the female fusilier is a bit flirty and poserish. see the likes of the ariadna kazak, jacket slung over one shoulder, midriff showing, compared to line kazak 2 just standing at ease. or the caledonian volunteers, al hawwa with the slight hip cocked to one side, szalamandra pilot...

it is not a huge thing, they could be much worse than they are, but I feel like it is played up a bit more than it could be.

Don´t know if you are a female (could be by the nick and the pic) but from a male point of view they doing it allright :cool: Most of the female figures in infinity even wear battleheels. I like most of the poses and the slight differences from their male counterparts. That is not very realistic, yes, but it look good.

It's the only rule in the game that I have ever seen widely abused. Within 1 month of it being introduced it single handedly dismantled a 12+ person weekly game night. In essence it's not a bad rule... but for units like Witch Solidiers the stacked bonuses create some noticeable game play issues.

I disagree to an extent, Link teams are certainly very powerful, but non-sectorial lists also have access to more units, more tools, and their own seriously power units.

IE: you can't bring a jotum in a sectorial at all yet

Link rules are unchanged. N3 is JUST a replacement/new edition of 2nd ed rulebook - NOT Human Sphere - where the link team rules were introduced.

There's probably going to be a touch up on the wording of certain HS rules to tighten them up with the wording of N3 - we know the profiles are getting an update.

They attached the hacker holo with photoshop since they don't even make them anymore.

Stats are out for them now (army 5) for Scylla. Hacker or assault hacker with 1 OR 2 devabot REPEATERS with flamers. Yes, upgrades.

I like them, I like the croc. Not sure on the others. I can't see enough of the heads on the naff'tuns (with so little showing, why not give them proper full helmets, not just overgrown gorgets?)

I know everyone expected Rambo because of the bow, but if you look at the "Frontiersmen" part of the name I was always thinking cowboy. Here's hoping we see a John Wayne sculpt in the future.

yeah they look like they really shake the dynamic of the game up, relying on ARM instead of to hit modifiers to survive.
But the good news is it looks like CB recognises that this is inherently worse than the to hit mods and has priced them appropriately.

So looking forward to playing dual link teams of MI too.

Feel odd this being my second ariadna force though, ah well Shas can wait

Will be buying a Seraph at some point. Love the new rules, I must say I was extremely skeptical of the way CB was handling the Seraph by changing it from S6 to S7 and then giving no indication that the wings would be more than a shoot me sign. But those fears have undoubtedly been proved very very wrong with the inclusion of Super Jump on the Seraph profile, giving it a unique role.

So nice to have a company support gamers and actually listen to the community input.

Im getting a seraph as soon as we get them in Aus, running a two TAG list with the Seraph and Jotum and still hit 10 orders and specialist coverage :D

You didnt happen to see my suggestion did you? Isn't it just! full 10 orders and two of em in TAGs, I was hoping to run it this week for my local gaming scene, but the retailer doesnt have a seraph in yet :(
