Welcome!
We would like to present You our latest project ‒ an army of Amazons. All miniatures will be made in 28 mm heroic scale that perfectly fits in with the most of available war games. As a young company we have decided to invest in remarkable design of our miniatures and their high quality that is possible thanks to the excellent resin.
We would like You to see that our miniatures are created with a real passion. And if You like them, we encourage You to support our project, especially that the prices in the campaign are about 25% lower than those planned for the future regular sale. Once again, we cordially invite You to participate in our project!

Good to see you took note of the last thread you put that said your designs were bad and your ideas demeaning to women and you made some changes to address that.

Oh wait, no you didn't, you just added a rubbish 3d render of a head. Nice work guys.

Hate to break it to you, but sex sells. On TV, in comics, art, and miniature wargames.

That said this is kinda poorly done. I think gamers/the market will determine whether this project makes it or dies.

No, objectified women sell. If sex in general sold we would see penises on everything as well.

Yeah, the market will solve everything, that always works out well.

These are terrible and demeaning and it needs to be pointed out that they're terrible.

It can't be Liefeld, they have feet and zero pouches.
Beyond bad anatomy I don't see what's wrong here. It's an army of boringly posed Lilith Hesperax with bad hair.

Lelith Hesperax isn't overly sexualised though. She's showing a lot of skin, yes, but she is in an action pose and her bust is really quite small and her anatomy is excellent. It's a superb sculpt, these are just tacky, ridiculously sexualised with revolting caricatured anatomy. Those spherical breasts, ugh.

The anatomy is so bad, they're supposed to be warriors but are litterally weating thongs ( as in g-strings) and bra and are draped over their weapons like they're pole dancing rather than wielding them , oh and the scultiping is terrible.

These are not Amazons, they're not even warrior women called Amazons, these are costumed strippers, that is extremly problematic.

You know, if sexual objectification offends you, you can choose to not comment on it.

It IS possible to ignore that compulsion inside you that comes after the feeling of "I don't like this" and insists on adding "So you shouldn't either and here is why". A compulsion which portrays the fact that something about this makes you feel insecure about yourself so you feel the need to attack it.

That said, these designs are not very good, even from a sexually aesthetic stand point. But either way, good luck to Miniforge with their fundraising project.

Has anyone seen this kickstarter Steel Wheels? It's a combat racing game where your character advances, rumor has it, it was originally developed for the 40 k universe. It uses Lego as it medium which saves on magnets to switch out weapons. A good use for Lego if you ask me, and a gateway drug for 40k possibly?

So you're attacking people for telling the designer that this product demeans women?

Thats pretty ****ed up priorities you have here.
If you disagree with something, like I do with this, I have the right and I feel, as a lack of gender equality is damaging to society, the responsibility to call it out as problematic.

The cry of "If you don't like it, you can ignore it" is a tool of an oppressor, ignoring it doesn't make sexual objectifiaction go away, it normalises it, it makes people like you think that its ok that women are looked on as nothing more than sex objects and trying to make people who feel strongly about gender equality out to be the people with a problem? Implying the eldargal is insecure because she finds these images of women as weak objects while using the name of a semi-mythical tribe of strong warrior women that many women look up to and see as something in history that speaks to them and that they can relate to? You're showing your own insecurities, you're telling us all how worried you are that women are equal and can have opinions because you think it will make you less important.

Way to spectacularly miss the point. The issue is not having a problem with some people liking them, the problem is they are crappy designs which objectify the female form and have no redeeming qualities. I'm pretty hard on Kingdom Deaths pinups on this front too but they at least are original concepts executed to an extremely high level. These are not. If someone likes them good for them but that doesn't make them anyother other than objectifying, over-sexualised, crude as **** 3D porn. The objectification of women is also something that is culture wide and DEEPLY harmful on many levels, way beyond 'I don't like it. That, however, is a discussion for the feminism topic.

Sounds like GW's old Dark Future Setting. NOT 40k. They do have other IP universes you know.

Barbie has better anatomy than these.

Cup size, I think-- look at #6 compared to the others.

However, not to get melodramatic, but "WHY U DO DIS? T_T" is she supposed to be undead? She looks like she's been starved to death, and hasn't fallen down yet. The way the hips meet the torso is just disturbing.
