Well, we all saw it coming the minute they put out Imperial Aces, but I was honestly expecting X-Wings.

Odd that they'd put crew members in an expansion where neither ship can take crew... maybe we'll see a Modification for B-Wings and Y-Wings that adds the crew icon to your upgrade bar? Both canonically have two-seat versions...

Edit: Looking more closely at the big spread, it looks like there is indeed a card that adds the crew icon to your upgrade bar, but it's B-Wing only. And I suspect it's a Title, not a Modification, as the set apparently includes Titles for both ships (the A-Wing's being Prototype Veteran (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/ffg_content/x-wing/news/rebel-aces/prototype-veteran.png)).

I love this, but I have to say b-wings weren't exactly lacking in oomph before. But look at that card. That's a powerful ship. A game changer ?

Your right. Y-wing needed it more. Love the a-wing stuff. I think that the b-wing was put in for sales reasons. I can't blame FFG. it's good business sense.

On reflection, I'm not certain I like Chardaan Refit. From a certain point of view, what it does is make A-Wings pay 2 points more for missiles than any other ship - since if you're not planning to take a missile, the only reason not to take Chardaan Refit would be "I don't have the card."

Edited to add: Whoa, I see the target lock tokens are in the double-letters now. And ship token number 43? That's... if you had 43 Academy Pilots or Bandit Squadron Pilots, the cheapest ships in the game, it would still be over 500 points. Just how epic is the Epic format going to be, I wonder?

Interceptors, I've been trying to get some for ages. Cheapest I found was £20 with £10 postage. Compare that to a x wing which I can get for £13 all in its a joke. Your right though there are too many current ships that need a reprint ASAP. Tie Bombers are another one that's as rare as hens teeth at the moment.

I did manage to spot some A-Wings on eBay for £18 and whilst a bit expensive I snapped two up just because I had to.

White tiger/ dead lift

They are out of print so everyone is cashing in on the rarity. Wait a month or two and they will be back to normal prices.
As for imperial aces we don't get then until 21/3

My imperial Aces were dispatched on Monday via a UK stockist on eBay so I hope to either have them today or tomorrow. Can't wait to paw over the cards.

I have had them on order from Amazon for ages. They have no clue when its released. That date came from Wayland. Mine needs to hurry up though

Mine says "not yet dispatched" and "delivery estimate Tuesday 18 Mar 14 - Friday 28 Mar 14."

Given that they're not yet dispatched I really don't see how the lower end of that estimate can be valid. Does something happen when the delivery van gets up to 88mph?

Both ships revealed so far are pretty nuts. Farlander with push the limit and some advanced torpedoes anyone? Even without them his ability is pretty crazy, toss on advanced sensors and he can make red maneuvers with essentially no penalty. The only catch that I can see is unlike a focus token, the text seems to imply you need to have Eye results in your dice roll to make use of the card text.

The A-wing pilot is pretty slick too. Once again with push the limit, his maneuverability is pretty crazy. And with essentially being able to take 15 point prototype pilots now, you could probably put together a pretty nasty A-wing list.
