Wow. I'm going to have to invest in some of this stuff when it's released. I wasn't a fan of their previous Infinity terrain but I love the portico, piazza, and courtyard kits.

Here's hoping they do ALEPH and Aridiana justice!

I look at that and think 'Exodite World'.

I was just thinking that.

Definitely picking some up for an Eldar themed table.

That's because the Eldar unashamedly borrow from Moorish as well as Asian influences. You're going to see a lot of "eldar" in REAL olde-worlde stuff on Earth, nowadays on parts of the planet.

So I ordered a couple of the big packs they offer. I'm hoping they will arrive Friday/Saturday so that I can work on assembling them over the holiday weekend. I'll try posting some pictures of the unassembled bits and do a quick write-up on how difficult they are to assemble versus the MAS terrain.

Did the kits arrive Chronowraith? I look forward to your write up!

They came yesterday! Unfortunately I've been dealing with a sewer backup in the house so I haven't had time to focus on them. I'm hoping tonight I'll get some time.

For those of you who complained about MAS lack of detailed instructions... Plastcraft isn't much better.

Anyway, I'll try and have something up in the next day or two. I really want to have this stuff put together for when my buddies come over Saturday to play.

Still working on finding the time to build the terrain. Should have some time tonight to take a crack at the first kits.

For now, here's some pictures of the packaging and the sheets before I've done anything with them. Also, note the instructions. Pictures are a bit grainy due to lighting and poor pic quality (my phone). Hopefully this keeps everyone tided over until I have time to make more progress.

So I spent a little time with the Bourak terrain last night so I'll give some quick first impressions...

The quality of the set is worth what you pay for it. It's durable, but only so much as you'd expect from styrene foam. The pieces are easy enough to remove from the sheets although it helps tremendously if you remove the "skin" from the backside. The pieces do suffer from twisting or tearing though, this is foam after all.

While I'm skeptical to say that the terrain is "hard" to assemble, this isn't MAS terrain. The Bourak set requires far more time, effort, and skill to assemble than MAS. For instance, you must glue down the pieces and give them time to dry or at least harden before advancing to the next step. I spent an hour and a half last night working on two pieces of terrain and neither are currently finished.

No new pictures. I'll try and post a larger dump when I finish at least a single piece of terrain.
