Odd how there are only two engine intakes, as opposed to the four on the classic X-Wing. I wonder if the intakes "split" when the wings are in the open position? Or if the point of separation is located to the outboard side of the intakes?

Wings split horizontally. Front half forms lower wing, rear half upper wing.
