Hi guys
I would like to share with you some of my works (more at http://pinatwar.blogspot.com (http://pinatwar.blogspot.com/)/). Currently I am working on two projects: dwarven warband for Song of Blade and Heroes and wargaming terrain - fantasy village.
Below you can see one of my terrain pieces I consider the best: Blacksmith House. I appreciate all your comments and critics.

Those are made by Italian company Fireforge Games but some bits were used from Perry Miniatures XV century Foot Knights. All in 28mm scale.

My first ever army for warhammer was Empire which of course in the early 90's was almost exclusively sculpted by the Perry twins, it the faces they sculpt and the attention to detail on their period armour as well which makes their work stand out.

I'm too young to remember they work for GW:). Nowadays they are certainly my favuorite miniature manufacturers. I have a bunch of their knights to paint now and after that I will stick to they next products for a long time:)

ahhh, chances are if you own any Lord of the Rings figures, at least 1 of them was done by them, they are one of the most respected sculpters of human based wargame figures around, I've got a few of their recent historical figures myself in my collection...

Thank you for your great comments. They keep my going. This time I painted totally different stuff. From the great boardgame Descent 2nd edition they come to prey upon innocents: Arachyuras and Cave Spiders (painted by my girlfriend while watching some TV series=)

Totally tabletop fast-painted miniatures but they made one of my boardgames even better than it is.

The castle is shaping up good, but paint wise, it looks far too clean, you really need to dirty it up a bit,

Add some flock 'moss', Greenstuff ivy and such small details like that.

Also smoke stains around windows and arrow slits (because the arhcers would likely have torches next to them at night so they can see, the smoke would naturally exit by the arrow slits).

Overall though it does look very well made.

Painted in a tabletop standard and probably a little to fast - 6 mounted men at arms of the Teutonic Order. The unit consists of several Brothers and West European Guests/ Mercenaries. Not historicly correct but playing with theses is fun and thematically related.
