How do?

Yeah, I got me a Wii U. And that makes me a special snowflake, and thus it deserves a thread all its own.

If you've got one, chime in and let me know what games are worth getting (well, next payday. Chrimbo has wallopped my wallet and no mistake. Probably because I bought a Wii U and stuff. Did I mention I own a Wii U? Normally I'm like Russell Brand mentioning he used to do drugs when it comes to the fact I own a Wii U. I just can't shut up about it).

Currently owned....

Super Mario Bros U - Not played yet
Super Luigi U - Not played yet
Hyrule Warriors - Not played yet
Legend of Zelda, A Link to the Past - Played, completed, and still very much loved! (and I mean completed. All hearts, all items!)
Super Metroid - Playing my way through it.
Legend of Zelda - The Adventure of Link - started playing, realised I'd forgotten how hard it is at the start, got in a huff, currently awaiting further attention.

So yeah - any other Wii U owners, do join in!

I have Super Mario Bros U
Mario Kart 8
Smash Brothers U
Bayonetta 1 and 2
Windwaker HD
Nintendo Land
Rayman Legends
Mario 3D
then various Wii games and virtual console stuff. recommend downloading the original Fire Emblem, big fan of that. Zelda 2 is incredibly hard, never managed to get very far on that one, despite finishing pretty much all the others.

The Marios are always great, especially if you have somebody round. Nintendo Land is brilliant for groups as well, don't over look it just because it came free, some good games in there.

It is a real shame the console hasn't sold very well, every single person I know who has one absolutely loves it

I will be joining this league at some point this year.
Not sure when exactly, maybe april/may time.

Definitley going to pick up mariokart 8, mario 3d and the next zelda game when it comes out.
Hyrule warriors might be an additional one if I don't get bored of it before I have my own.

Managed to nab the hammer in Adventure of Link today, which is nice.

Now just stotting around levelling myself up. Yep - you read that right. There's an experience tree in Adventure of Link!

I need to pick that up on the Wii U, got it on the Gamecube, had it on my Wii, need to play it again and give it another go.

Another piece of heart, and another boost to Magic.

But screw those unpredictable graveyard ghost things. Impossible to hit, and steal XP with every hit :(

damn, now I want to play the Adventures of Link again, even though I know it will drive me mad...

Now I've got downward stab, it's much more tolerable. No senseless charging at something that's hacking at me. Instead I just bounce on it's head repeatedly.

Heal spell is likewise v handy!
