Ages ago as part of a Rogue Trader campaign I worked on some things to use for my astropath character. In Navis Primer it talks about the rituals and hours of prayer that astropaths have to do prepare themselves for flinging their minds into the warp to act as radio transmitters/receivers and all of them have seen the Emperor (being, in fact, the very last thing any of the truly saw with their own eyes) so it makes sense for them to be pretty religious. Except the church preaches that psykers are unholy. So they probably have their own sets of homilies etc.

This prayer is modified from a Catholic Mass of the Eucharist. I have since discovered that church latin and proper latin don't use the same rules, but since 'High Gothic' is dog latin anyway I have given up and decided I no longer care. If you can read latin you are not allowed to pick on my failure at figuring out correct declensions, because at least the gist of it works. :p

Lauda Psyion salvatórem
Lauda ducum et praesidis
In hymnis et cánticis.

Quantum potes, tantum aude:
Quia major omni laude,
Nec laudáre súfficis.

Vetustátem nóvitas,
Umbram fugat véritas,
Noctem lux elíminat.

Quod non capis, quod non vides,
Animósa firmat fides,
Præter rerum ordinem.

Sub divérsis speciébus,
Signis tantum, et non rebus,
Latent res exímiæ.

Veritas sufferre non concisus
Non confráctus, non divísus:
Integer accípitur.

Mors est malis, vita bonis:
Vide paris sumptiónis
Quam sit dispar éxitus.

And in english:

Psyion, lift up thy voice and sing:
Praise thy saviour and thy king,
Praise with hymns thy guardian true.

All thou canst, do thou endeavour:
Yet thy praise can equal never
Such as merits thy great king.

Here, for empty shadows fled,
Is reality instead,
Here, instead of darkness, light.

Doth it pass thy comprehending?
Faith, the law of sight transcending
Leaps to things not understood.

Here beneath these signs are hidden
Priceless things, to sense forbidden,
Signs, not things, are all we see.

They, who suffer true this fate,
Sever not, nor rend, nor break:
But, entire, their God receive.

Here it is life: and there it is death:
The same, yet issuing to each
In a difference infinite.

It works great chanted gregorian style. Now I just need to find my notes on the other Imperial Cult stuff I did for that game and fix the even-more-butchered latin in those.

Would work set in plainsong as well.

Bravo indeed, the cadence and measure fits lovely :)
