I really liked the base Armada game but Wave 1 adds so much spicy sauce! I'm painting up all the little squadron ships this week.

I was wondering when we'd get the Armada wave 1 in Australia, and then I heard from one of my friends last games night that one of the local stores had got a supply in. Thought about it for a few minutes and then spent the next 15 minutes battling traffic to get over there.

Got lucky too - the store owner had just finished putting his pre-orders together, and I managed to pick up one of each box/blister except the Imperial fighters. They really are excellent to look at - the only one I'd have problems with would be the Corvette, but I guess that can't be helped much - it is a small model.

Now I just gotta find someone to play against in Brisbane...

Yeah I have no opponents here either, gonna check out an X-wing night sooner or later, I think that's where new players will be jumping over from.

ok so it's just like buy the additional Xwing or Tie Fighter from xwing...cool...I wasn't sure. I can get them later then and get the core and fighter sets as well as the Assault Frigate
