Well, this is certainly interesting:

Highlights:

- First store to be labeled "Warhammer" in the US.
- More than one person at the store, as opposed to their usual M.O.
- "Free global shipping for tourists"

So it seems like they're opening a Warhammer store in New York, with multiple staff members, aimed not just at the local gamers but also at tourists passing through New York.

Not sure on the thing about trying to nab tourists. I get that NYC is a tourist hub and all, but game stores typically do better trying to cater to the area around them, and tourists aren't that likely to stop in at a game store, especially in NYC with all its attractions.

Still, it sounds like they're looking at opening a pretty big store.

Also interesting that, in their listing of vacancies by country, the US has more than anyone else (though UK and Ireland, of course, are up there). While the US *is* a continent-spanning country, that indicates a bigger push. Likely a move to regain some of the losses from independent retailers in the US, but it also puts a lid on claims that the US is unimportant to GW. (Heck, they're putting at least three stores in Georgia, of all places!) The positions of New Business Developer and Account Manager in Memphis, TN also suggest more of a push to get retailers back in the pull in the US.

Not sure if all of that will help... but it's interesting to see someone recognizing a big market that they're losing ground in.
