Hey looking to see if there are any casual 40K players from the DC area? I play at the GW store in Olney, MD and at the GW Battle Bunker in Baltimore.

Yeah man, I live in NW DC and play 40k, BFG, and Fantasy. There's a small group of us that play 40k- about 5 of us, and 3 BFG player. We play out of my appartment though, as none of us have cars, so we're pretty reliant on Metro to get around.

Also, there's a place up in Rockville that has open gaming that has a fair ammount of people in it on Thursdays.

I live on the hill, and like Dingareth am reliant on Metro. That said, Dream Wizards in White Flint has a really big 40k and Fantasy community.

I'd like to get some BFG in, as I'm getting back into the game after years and years out of it. Would be nice to snag a game sometime. *hint* *hint*

Well I've got terrain- ie Styrofoam, and models. You have a fleet still Faultie?

All I've got left is a small, 260 pt Imperial Arbites flotilla.
I'm looking to get some SM, IN, and/or Mechanicum ships over the next month or so.

Nice, there's a couple of us up in NW that have fleets. Should try to get everybody together at Dream Wizards sometime.

Sounds good. Set a date (that isn't BoLSCon) and I'll make it up.

While not the greatest set up (yet) My girlfriend went out and got me the Realm of Battle table, so that I wouldn't have to take up my entire apartment with Warhammer stuff. While not an ideal set up, it great for 40k and Fantasy- Here's (http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y23/DinGareth/IMG_0177.jpg) a picture of what we're working with.

Hello folks.

Long-time 40k (and Warhammer, and, ah, dozens of other games too) player here, presently up in Columbia, MD.

Looking for some fresh blood. We play on Thursday nights and 1-2 weekend days a month at my place here - got a gaming basement well-stocked.

Sadly it does require a car! Columbia's not at all accessible from Metro or really any solid public transport.

We have a constantly growing group of players in Frederick. It's pretty easy to get a game most weekends. We also do terrain on Tues nights. Feel frre to stop by the Hobbytown in Frederick and join the fun

Um....LONG way away in fact.

Quantico, I think your nearest game store is going to be the Game Parlor's Woodbridge shop.

Whoooohooooo! Flying tonight, will be back in D.C. tomorrow!

Shame Fredrick is that far... oh well. The Games Parlor in Woodbridge ain't bad if my memory serves me correct. Thats across the street from Potamic Mills right?
The Mills had a GW in it last year when I was in town, but when I checked GW's store locater recently it didn't show up. Did that store close or something?

Both of the Game Parlors are decent stores. And yes, I believe Woodbridge is a block or two away from Potomac Mills - I'm not down that way too often.

I don't really know much about GW stores in that area. I do know they just opened one near me, which is a bonus.

I live in the district (Eastern Market), and if I'm not playing at home, I'm heading up to Dream Wizards. There's a great bunch of guys there, a good amount of room for tables, and a good models/games selection.
