The Frostblade is the best weapon in the game, what have you guys killed with it recently?

Last time I used it I killed a Vargulf and a Vampire Lord with it, in the same round!

I added Skrag and some Maneaters to the list today. The Skrag vs. VC Lord w/ Frostblade was a truly epic battle but in the end he succumbed to it.

Who else was going to add Skrag to the damn list though!? Someone should pay me ...

I think it's all the exclamation points at the end of the name that do it. You opponent sees all of them and just wants to die.

Ya know, I still loved what happened in my battle we had a newcomer to the game have his general in his army have that darn weapon and well it was funny cause my cannon killed the general due to not having it attached to anything and left him in the open so I pretty much nuked a 400 point character one a 75point cannon. >;D

Its too little much times infinity. The description of the Frostblade in the army book should be "The frostblade is amazing. If you take this weapon you will have 150% more fun than your opponent. This is a real statistic. "

Considering that your Lord can only take 100pts of wargear, what else do you put on him then? He's rather naked! A VC Lord anyway. No ward saves for a start, you can give him that vampiric power that kits him out but that's it.

Where would you put him? Blood Knights is just asking for a cannon ball (s). Black Knights and give him Helm of Comm oh that's right I've used up all my points.. ok put 3 vamps in that unit! One that has Helm of Commandment, another a BSB with Drakenhof banner.

vamp w/ helm on something fast
wight w/ dickenhoff banner on something fast
some other character
unit of 18 dogs

everything else is just to help that unit get to combat
