won't be using any other marks other then chaos glory and no cult units (thousand sons, berserkers, noise marines and plague marines. went with a 12 man sqaud broken down into 6 man firing squads as word bearers usually have squads of 12.
The Idea for the army is the following
Both defilers on each corner of deployment, I usually play on a 4X6 board so the battle cannons range will cover the whole table allowing both to usually shoot at all times and giving the enemy less chance of a cover save or obscurity. The defiler will slowly progress forward to get their 5 (6) MC attacks into combat.
Rhinos hopefully covered by the defilers so that the possessed and lord get stuck into combat and the lesser and greater daemons can DS close enough to make an impact. Marine squads hold back and provided covering fire/ counter attacking and help the defilers deal with any vehicles that come too close to them.
Obliterators are there to take care of any vehicles or units hanging back on the enemies end (basilisks, sniper ETC) or contest a objective.
Main opponents are; salamanders, witch hunters, thousand sons, Dark Eldar, Orks and Necron.
