Chaos champion rock base ?s

Hey all I am mostly done with my chaos champion which has the model already standing on rock. My question is what colors should I use to make the rock fit in with a snow themed base I am going to use? I plan on using some of the GF9 snow basing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use codex grey on rocks. Either paint it Codex Grey and highlight with a mix of Codex Grey and Skull White or Paint it Chaos Black and Drybrush Codex Grey.

Although, I'd hate to sound like an ***, you should research what kind of rocks would be in that certain environment, if you wanted to go over the top with the realism. Although nothing wrong with a generic "Look at me, I'm a rock".
