I began my Ulthwé army back in 1994 with the release of the second edition codex. I had collected elder previous to this in the Rogue Trader days, but there were not really any craftworlds until White Dwarf 127 came out and changed everything for us Eldar players.
The army has undergone many, many changes over the years. I'm going to post pics of the contemporary Ulthwé army and some of the older models from way back in the days of second edition.

Hear are some shot of the HQ models I currently use on a regular basis.

Ok, now for some old stuff.

This guy dates from my RT era eldar army. He was repainted in 2nd edition.

The original Ashafar’es Shen’estra the Guardian Lord. That's right, I had an autarch long before there were autarchs.

Y'know, I don't think I've ever seen an Ulthwe Autarch. I like the Dire Avenger scope at the top of his banner; nice touch!

Holy moley that's impressive. I think the rangers are my favorites, they really do have that "hanging out in the background, all earthy-tones and unseen" feel to them -- in other words, they are the embodiment of what Eldar rangers are all about. :)

I have to agree with the previous two posts. Really nice work there.

Loving the blend of old and new colours schemes.
The classic black and yellow against the modern bone and purple colours of Ulthwe.
Truly, this is a beautiful army.

I think the Storm Guardians are my fav from the group. Nice job. Do you still use them, even without WS5?

For sure!
They have their drawbacks; like no plasma grenades, but put 10 of them in a wave serpent with an enhancing warlock, a pair of flamers and Ashafar’es Shen’estra (Prince Yriel) and I've had great success with them.

Also, in Apocalypse they have WS 4 (5 w/enhance) thanks to the Ulthwé Strikeforce formation.

As an added bonus, here is the Second edition version of the squad.

I prefer the Destructorlock myself. Nothing burns up Guard, or other Eldar for that matter, like a Heavy Flamer.

Good work mate. Looks like we have been in game about the same time, only thing is I sold most of my old miniatures off about 5 years ago.

I have to agree with what a couple of the others have said, the Rangers really display your talents the best. The yellow and black does seem a bit old school, but you have pulled it off well and the army looks great, keep up the good work.

So is this army your main one? got anything big or special we havent seen? any plans to expand?

I like the old school yellow and black you tied it in well with some of the more mordern colors , your yellow which seems to have no highlighting seems to work with the overall paint scheme .

Love the black yellow Ulthwe. I'm huge fan of the old Eldar models. Seeing the Eldar musician (bonesinger) makes me burn with envy. I sold mine amongst a ton of old minis I had about 10 years back, seeing it so well painted makes me hurt!
