So Firmer Terra, makers of the ALPHA Game Table (https://firmerterra.com/purchase-now/), are now shipping their tables with a dust cover/bag. Having reviewed the table (http://pawnsperspective.com/alpha-table-review/) a few months ago, they reached out to me to help spread the word.

For those who aren't familiar with the ALPHA Game Table, it's a portable game table perfect for miniatures, board games, card games, RPG, etc... What sets it apart from other folding tables is it's 6' x 4' surface and how it folds down to 7” x 18” x 48”. It only weighs 30 pounds and is easily slid under beds or stored in closets. Setup only takes a few minutes.

You might be wondering why I'd go out of my way to help Firmer Terra spread the word about their table. Let me tell you a story about my experience with their table.

I first found out about the ALPHA through a Facebook ad of all things. I wrote Firmer Terra requesting a review table. After a bit of back and forth, they agreed to send me a table, and my above review came from that. When I wrote that review my home was under some pretty major renovations. The whole first floor of my house was being worked on; walls being knocked down and carpeting getting ripped up to make way for wood flooring. The renovations started in March, continued through May...and lasted until November. The entire time our house was in chaos the ALPHA became the center of our household.

Did I mention that my wife and I have 4 kids?

Throughout the entire course of the renovations we used the ALPHA not only for gaming, but to eat our meals on, to do homework on, and to gather as a family. It was quick enough to set up every morning, fold up before everyone left the house so the contractors could work, and set up again as needed at the end of the day. It was sturdy enough to hold up to our family of 6 for months with constant setup/teardown, spills, crafts, and of course, games. To say the ALPHA table made our lives a little easier is an understatement. Yes, we could have gotten away with your standard folding table, but the 6' x 4' area of the ALPHA fit our entire family with room to spare.

Of course, now that our renovations are complete the ALPHA is back to being used for purely gaming, most DUST 1947 and Guildball at the moment.

The ALPHA costs $190 (https://firmerterra.com/purchase-now/) (that's including shipping), and like I stated earlier, now comes with a dust cover/bag to keep it clean and make it even easier to carry. I've gotten a lot of mileage out of mine in just a few months, and I'm a firm believer in the product.
