Problems understanding rules for Horus Heracy Board Game.

Has anyone else who has bought the Horus Heracy board game had problems understanding, and navigating their way around the rules? :confused:

I tried to have a game with a mate of mine after I bought the game, and we spent 90 minutes just trying to get out heads around them. We gave up in the end, and packed the game away till we had the time to learn the rules.

Another friend I recently met at the new Gaming shop in my suburb (PLUG - Hall of Heroes on Queen Street Campbelltown NSW Australia) also bought the game, and he spent 6 hours trying (yes he still has not even worked out how to fight a round of close combat) to learn the rules.

Does anybody on this forum know how to play the game? If so HELP!
