Gravitic Contortion Clarification

So according to the WD with the Kataphron Battle Servitors, the Torsion Cannon (24", S8, AP1 - Heavy 1, Gravitic Contortion), the Gravitic Contortion rule reads as follows:

-Each time a non-vehicle model suffers an unsaved Wound from this weapon, it loses D3 Wounds instead of only 1. Each time a vehicle model suffers a penetrating hit from this weapon, it loses D3 Hull Points instead of only 1.

So my question is, if a non-vehicle model in a unit, like a Space Marine in a tactical squad, suffers an unsaved wound, and then takes, let's say, 3 wounds from this weapon, do those other wounds carry over into the rest of the squad, or are they only suffered by that one model within the unit?

It's quite clear that it's on a per-model basis. There's not a lot of point rolling the d3 for a single-wound model.

Yep. Treat it in the same way as Instant Death in that respect.
