sukigod, nice looking gun platfrom and i cannot wait to see it finished. 1 question, do you need more missles for your rockets on the front because i have some from my acft models that i'm not using that i can send to you if you want them. Great work again. BA83

Thanks for the offer, bloofangel83! It's ok though, I'm intentionally leaving a number of tubes empty to show they've been fired already. You'll see later in the build, I'm at no loss for rokkets! :)
Thanks for the kudos and thanks for checking out my thread.

It may look a little sparse yet but don't worry, all "plain" areas will receive due treatment before it's over.
I'll do some of the plating around the nose and do whatever it is I decide to do with the chin (not sure yet - maybe more guns...) Then I'll move on to the big shootas down the side and then the landing gear bay covers.

OK, I did it, I added more guns. Wasn't sure how I was going to finish off the chin so I decided to add more dakka! Too much? Naw...

And Thanks to Harkon Greywolf for his patented lascannon barrel conversion - looted with pride!
So now I get to finish off the plating on the nose and move on to the big shootas down the flanks. Moar dakka!
Later!

Wow dude that is awesome... but you can never have too much Dakka.
I can't wait to see in painted.
-
Deffinitely NOT enough dakka... I can still see white space :P

That much firepower jutting out of the nose of a fast-moving aircraft shouldn't make me giggle, but what're you gonna do, eh?
Amazing work, Suki. You're an inspiration to ork players everywhere. Well, except the bad ones. But even they think this stuff is pretty cool, while they're kicking squig-puppies and spitting on grots.

Thanks everyone.
On another note: work on the bommer will be temporarily halted.
Now that you're all done shouting... An exceptional opportunity for the missus and I to buy a different house has come up and things need to move quickly so the hobby room is getting packed up so the house shows better, which usually equates to a quicker sell. We've done this before so it's nothing new for us, just a lot of work in a short time. Getting into the new house should be a relatively short process too. We're figuring somewhere between Halloween and Thanksgiving we should be in the new house. Christmas at the latest but we hope not 'cause I HATE moving in the winter in Minnesota.
The paint hutch will still be in the house so I'll be painting on occasion but don't expect much in the way of updates for a while.
Later!

Thanks for the heads up and good luck on the new house. BA83

Well. just about everything in the house is packed and it's all staged and ready for showing at any time. Let's hope it sells sooner rather than later!
I was smart enough to leave myself something to do if I got a chance. Ten stormboyz and two mekboyz are all I've got to work on until either this house sells or someone buys the other house first and we all unpack. Took some time to start the skin and wrapped that up tonight. Nothing big but something to keep the Waaagh! growing in the meantime.
