Once again the BBC comments section doesn't fail to disappoint.
Todays article is on the growing risk of antibiotic immune bacteria. A serious problem.
The number of people claiming its "government propaganda so they can cut money and stop giving out medication" and the number of people saying "antibiotics are a waste they didn't fix my cough/flu/broken arm (seriously)" is frankly scary.
The country could exercise a euthanasia programme for anyones comments who gets voted down to the levels some of them are
What? How? I don't want to live here anymore.

that sounds unusual, now triple chocolate...
new processor arrived today, i7, wrong socket. I am a sad panda. got to send it back and order the right one elsewhere.
On the other hand, all my Flames of War arrived today.
I know what you're going through.
But yay new plastic crack!
Well my freehub failed on the way to work, so I organised to swap my bike over with a spare that I keep at my Father's house. Wheeling the bike to the car it starts to work  Deciding not to risk it, I think it seized up either because of cold, grit or a combination of the two.
Only one problem my spare bike doesn't have tyres on, not too bad as it can use the one on the ones on my bike with a broken hub. This should take 10 minutes to swap.
So I get to my Dad's around 19:00, wheels off both bikes inner tubes replaced and then we hit the first problem, one of my inner tubes valve doesn't fit. Ho-hum I've spare ones that will fit at home.
19:20 - Just double check that the gears still work. Big problem, the front mechanism has frozen up. So after about an hour lubricating and wiggling the mechanism is free and working correctly. Check the rear, same problem. An hour later it is moving freely but the cable isn't pulling through properly. After a little while lubricating the cable in the cable housing it continues to be a problem.
21:30 - Give up as I discover the issue is that the cable is fried. New idea! Swap the rear derailuer, cabling and lever from the one bike to the other. Chain removed from both bikes, handle grip removed from the wrong side of the one bike eventually everything is removed and swaped.
22:00 - Time to re-tune the newly attached derailuer. 22:10 done. Quickest tuning ever.
Cup of tea then home.
Motorway access road is closed, decide to use an alternative route.
Alternative route is access slip is also closed.
Forced to use alternative alternative route.
Get home, unload bike.
Attach and inflate tyres.
Check brakes, rear brake is frozen on.
Tweak brakes, working well now.
00:25 log on to BoLS to complain about crappy evening.
